ORCi Banger Team Championship

Trackstar would like to thank the National Banger drivers who raced for us at the ORCi Banger Team Championships at the weekend.  The event, which Trackstar won at Mildenhall in 2009, was held at Arena Essex which doesn’t have much in common with the Norfolk Arena!  However, the team consisting of 337 Ashley Garrod, 338 Terry Garrod, 339 Jack Garrod, 388 Emmerson Fairweather, 597 Andy Ashman and 730 Deane Mayes all worked hard and raced well through the afternoon scoring points in four of the five races.  In the end, Trackstar finished in fifth place of the nine promotions racing at the event but this was the highest placed shale promotion.

The promotion sends congratulations to Spedeworth who were crowned ORCi team champions for the next twelve months at the close of the days’ racing.
